The Senior Manufacturing Supervisor coordinates all manufacturing floor activities, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently throughout your assigned shift. You will help organize and oversee the talented team of leads, operators and other floor associates to achieve the most optimal departmental workflow. You will advise floor leads on best practices, daily workflow organization, and the overall success rate of work output day-to-day. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity objectives are consistently achieved
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives through Lean methodologies, driving efficiency and operational excellence
  • Inspire, coach, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth
  • Partner cross-functionally to address challenges, implement solutions, and support organizational initiatives
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify trends, implement action plans, and deliver measurable results
  • Oversee and coordinate daily production activities to meet established safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
  • Lead and develop a team of supervisors and staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and other operational best practices to reduce waste and improve processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain) to identify challenges, implement solutions, and support new initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, analyze operational data, and drive corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence throughout the team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

  • ● Innate ability to build great relationships and embrace people leadership
  • ● Dynamic communication skills, written and verbal
  • ● Critical thinking - ability to problem-solve using empirical/data-driven approaches
  • ● Proficient with mechanical operation, manufacturing processes and procedures
  • ● Superb attention to detail, product quality and safety procedures
  • ● Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment (24 hour turnaround on product)
  • ● Computer knowledge and skills (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel)
  • ● Experience with Lean manufacturing or lean manufacturing tools and principles
  • ● Six Sigma Certification preferred

 

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven supervisory or leadership experience within operations, production, or manufacturing
  • Demonstrated success implementing Lean principles (Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred)
  • OSHA 10 certified (required), OSHA 30 (preferred)

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Duties require standing (except breaks and lunch) throughout working shift for 8 to 12 hours
  • Able to use a computer, keyboard, phone
  • Able to lift 10 lbs. continuously and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 lbs
  • Able to lift up to and above 50 lbs with machine assistance
  • Frequent walking, grasping, gripping, and fine hand manipulation
  • Visual acuity at short distances - able to detect variances in orders and cut marks
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, bending and overhead reaching

POSITION SCHEDULE DETAILS

  • Pay Range: $70K - $85K
  • Full-time, exempt position
  • Shift subject to change based on business needs
    • Generally, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    • Monday - Friday
  • 100% on-site position (no hybrid work available)
